A member can apply on the “Lobby” tab of the Hub by clicking “Request to be leader” at the top of the Members list.

If there is no active Hub Leader, you can request to be the first leader of the Hub by visiting the #request-hub-ownership channel in the AVGL Discord.

Connect the Hub Discord FAQ

You must be a leader on the Hub and have correct permissions in your Discord server.

On the Hub menu, there will be a button that says “Authorize Bot”. Enter a title for your channel and click “Submit”. You will be forwarded to Discord to authorize the bot by selecting your server and clicking “Authorize”.

The Bot will then autocreate a text channel called “#hubchannel”. This is the channel that will default on the Hub page. We recommend you keep this channel open for anyone to chat and also utilize it for major announcements. Users can view and use other channels as well while on the Hub.
